Royal Flying Doctor Service - Partnership Video

A visual alignment of purpose, people, and scale.

Every day, the Royal Flying Doctor Service retrieves 28 people across Western Australia. Behind that figure lies a system of care, urgency, and reach - one that often goes unseen. To bring that scale into focus, RFDS partnered with the Fremantle Dockers to reframe the numbers in a way that felt immediate and relatable.

Barbitta was engaged to concept and deliver a short-form campaign video that would mark the beginning of key sponsorship moments and power social engagement. Built around visual metaphor, the film translates abstract data into something human. Twenty-eight patients becomes a full football team. Distance travelled in a day is set against the size of a stadium crowd. The message is clear: these are not just numbers. They are lives.

Designed for stadium screens and digital rollout, the video combines animation, iconography, and spatial perspective. Guided by the FormStory, and Meaning tiles of the Barbitta Mosaic™, the piece uses simple motion design to hold attention and create emotional impact.
