Il Falco

A sharpened space for pizza, presence, and industrial memory.

Tucked into a quieter pocket of the Mt Hawthorn strip, Il Falco brings a traditional Italian sensibility to a space with history in its walls. Once a mechanic’s workshop, the site has been reimagined with precision and restraint, retaining its industrial bones while introducing something altogether more refined.

The menu is focused and intentional. Fresh, house-made pizza is the centre of gravity, crafted with thoughtfully sourced local produce and fired in a Marana Forni oven, the Italian Rolls Royce of pizza ovens.

Barbitta was engaged to deliver a complete identity and spatial design approach. From branding and wayfinding to the suspended ceiling signage and external expression, every element was designed to serve both place and plate.

Guided by the FormAtmosphere, and Orientation tiles of the Barbitta Mosaic™, the design approach respects both tradition and site. The bold red wordmark delivers a quiet confidence across materials, while the hand panted Il Falco lettering becomes both signage and sculpture over the weathered brickwork.

Signage is integrated, not imposed. Language is minimal and architectural. The space doesn’t tell you what it is, it lets you feel it.
